Fifteen years ago, Carol Vespi and her late husband Frank started Ruby Acres. After Frank passed away, she continued the business where she met Bob Evans. They decided to worked the business together. At the beginning of 2012 they renamed it The Iron Garden.

In the middle of August 2012 they sold it to Chad Schlemmer. Chad sets up at many of craft, art and farm shows and festivals with his wife Anne. They offer a whimsical variety of iron, tin and wire decorative andĀ folk-artĀ items including wire planters, topiaries, armillaries, recycled tin animals, metal signs, cast iron plaques, bells, banks, and much more.
